Association requests that ration shops have internet connectivity to serve people quickly

Coimbatore: The Ration Shop Owners' Association has demanded that the ration shops are taking a long time to provide items to the public due to the lack of internet facilities and urged that they can work quickly if internet facilities are provided.

Tamil Nadu Fair Price Shop Employees Union demanded that the government should come forward to eliminate the server and network problems in the ration shops and provide the sales terminal and modem.

Rajendran, the state president of the association, said, “Every ration shop in Tamil Nadu has a POS machine. We ask the government to provide the necessary internet facility and provide the modem which will put an end to the frequent network problems."
