Coimbatore: BJP members along with Makkal Sevai Maiam are doing various people welfare camps in Coimbatore under the Modi Camp scheme. On the 12th day todayan eye camp was organised todayat the Nataraja Vasakasalai Trust Center near Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore.

BJP state General Secretary KT Ragavan attended the camp as the guest of honour and addressed the gathering on the Central Government's 5 new services. National General Council member Venkatesan took part in this special eye camp.

Vanathi Srinivasan who was also present at the event stated that "Under BJP's rule around ₹5 lakhs of medical insurance scheme and a savings plan for girl children below 10 years in Selvamagal Savings Scheme was launched. Modi's daughter scheme for helpless women and many other schemes helped people in many ways. Over 9,000 people have benefited from these schemes."

BJP National Women's Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan also said that "under the girl child savings scheme, the saved amount will be doubled when the girl reaches 18 years of age and will not have to pay tax for it.

TheCentral Government has also started free bank accounts for all along with other plans which help people from all walks of life.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to visit Coimbatore on 25th and we are planning for a grand welcome. Our Prime Minister had a lot of respect for women and the people of Tamilnadu."
