Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 477 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,28,918 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,232.
Among districts, Chennai led with 143 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 46 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 50,352 today, totalling to 1,68,13,020 getting examined till date.
