Coimbatore ladies circle and 'CREDAI' Coimatore jointly inaugurated the tribal village electrification projects in the district.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore ladies circle and 'CREDAI' Coimatore jointly inaugurated the tribal village electrification projects in the district.
A press release stated that,"As part of empowering and lighting up our Tribal Villages, Coimbatore City Round Table 31,Coimbatore City Ladies Circle 16 and CREDAI have joined together to inaugurate the Tribal Village Electrification Project at Dhumanur and Shembukarai areas.
This project aims at provisioning electricity for 53 houses in both areas. VC Arukutty MLA presided as the guest of honour for this event. He also sponsored the deposit amount for the project.
The event was convened by LMF Tr Pradeep Rajappa (Area 7 Chairman- Round Table India), Tr Dayanand Palaniswamy (Chairman - Coimbatore City Round Table 31, Cr Sindhuja Dayanand (Chairperson - Ladies Circle 16) Cr Rohini Christopher (National Treasurer - Ladies Circle India), Suren Vittel (President - Credai Coimbatore) and Gugan Ilango ( Vice President - CREDAI Tamil Nadu).
On this day and age of the 21st century, where it is almost impossible to imagine daily life without electricity, the villagers have waited patiently for this moment. Their joy and excitement was evident in their jubilant celebrations during the inauguration." It said.
