Government Bus driver involved in the accident was arrested by the police
Coimbatore:
Anand (21) from Iluparur, Pudukkottai and his friend Perumal (25) were on their way to Masani Amman Temple, Anamalai post their vacation in Kodaikanal.
Unfortunately when they were on the Udumalaipet highway, a bus from Pollachi which was on it's way to Kalikavilai crashed on the two wheeler near Kedimedu area.
Both the friends sustained heavy injuries and died on the spot. Neighbours informed the Komangalam police officials about this tragic accident.
Police officials then arrived at the scene and then recovered the bodies and sent them to the government hospital for autopsy.
Later police officials arrested Government Bus driver Balakrishnan and are now holding him for further investigation.
