Coimbatore: A special grievance meeting for the tribals in areas like Kallar, Theppammedu and Nendungundram at the Valparai Tahsildar Office by Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan.

During the grievance meeting, Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan met the tribals and asked about the welfare and solutions were given to them.
Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan then ordered the officials to implement the "individual housing patta, Agricultural land patta, medical facilities, ration products and other necessary amenities."
He then ordered the officials to immediately issue community certificates to 63 tribal children.
Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan then explained their homeless situation to the district collector and DFO officials and allocated rupees 1 crore for the maintenance of the tribals.

Free notebooks, pouch, pencils and pens were given to the children in the area.
Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan then said that " A team from Chennai will immediately visit the place and issue the land patta to the tribals within 3 to 5 months. According to the government law of 2006 all the needs of tribals will be immediately done. To implement these things a budget of 32 crores will be needed, this will be discussed with the Collector and necessary actions will be taken."
Valparai Tahsildar Rajan, Revenue Officer Moorthy, Sengutuvan, Vijay, Amirthraj, Murugan and other revenue officers along with several tribals took part in this grievance camp.
