Tirupur: DMK's Environmental Team Secretary Karthikeya Siva Senathipathy and Kangeyam Cattle Research Center have teamed up to conduct the Kangeyam Cattle Show from 15th Februaryat Mullipuram near EBET College, Kangeyam.
The preparations for the grand festival has begun already. DMK's Environmental Team Secretary Karthikeya Siva Senathipathy issued a press release which stated that "We have huge respect and love towards animals over the years. That is why we celebrate them often and try to take measures to save nature. As a part of that we are trying to revive the Kangeyam breed Cattle varieties which are on the verge of extinction."
"Senapathy Kangeyam Cattle Research Foundation will protect and safeguard the Kangeyam breed cattles. At the foundation we plan to increase the number of Kangeyam bulls. To give people an awareness of traditional cattle breeds, DMK Environmental Team and Senathipathy Kangeyam Cattle Research Foundation have planned to organise "Kangeyam Cattle Show 2021".
Beloved leader Kalaingar Karunanidhi initiated Asia's first Veterinary and Animal Science University in Tamilnadu. He then issued the Cattle Safety Act. DMK chief MK Stalin has followed in the footsteps of his father and has now been involved in various activities to safeguard animals and the environment.
DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin will be the guest of honour to this event and will address the gathering of farmers and cattle rears. The festival will also be attended by Tirupur DMK East Secretary Swaminathan. We cordially invite the public, women and youth to visit this festival and make it a grand success."
