Missing man found dead on Vellingiri Hills; Alandurai police investigate

Coimbatore: A man from Salem who reportedly went missing two months ago was found dead on Vellingiri Hills, on Friday.



Coimbatore: A man from Salem who reportedly went missing two months ago was found dead on Vellingiri Hills, on Friday.

According to initial reports, today morning, devotees spotted an unidentified corpse of a man lying near the 5th hill of the Vellingiri hills. 



The devotees alerted the police and upon arrival, the Alandurai police retrieved the corpse and are investigating. 



Initial investigation reveals that the deceased is Tamilarasu (30) from Omalur in Salem district. He was reported missing by his parents two months ago and a police complaint has also been lodged. 

Further investigations are on.
