Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 486 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,27,480 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,285.
Among districts, Chennai led with 142 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 45 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 55,290 today, totalling to 1,66,55,151 getting examined till date.
