INDCO serve Chief Executive Supriya Sahu, District Collector Innocent Divya and Coonoor MLA Chandra ramu took part in this launch event.
Coimbatore: There are around 16 INDCO tea industries in The Nilgiris. Out of that the factory in Coonoor was recently modified according to the guidelines of environmental protection by INDCO. This new modified plant was inaugurated by NABARD Chairman Dr GR Chintala.

INDCO Serve Chief Executive Supriya Sahu, District Collector Innocent Divya and Coonoor MLA Chandra ramu took part in this event.
During this event INDCO Serve was given ₹18.54 crores to modify the interiors of 5 INDCO factories.
Chief Secretary said that "This development will create an international platform for small scale tea farmers, it will also help INDCO serve to produce fine quality tea. We have also planned to create a selling counter at the factory venue to serve our products better.

Later NABARD chairman inaugurated a special mobile application called INDCO@TEA.
