An event was held at the Canara Bank branch in Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore where loans were given to MSME industrialists for their business development.

Jebastian, Canara Bank's Saibaba Colony General Manager said that " Our bank will continue giving loan priority for entrepreneurs. "
Tamilnadu MSME Association's Coimbatore District President James took part in this event. He thanked the bank staffs for their initiative and stated that " MSME industrialists in Coimbatore continue to suffer post Covid-19 lockdown. We have submitted around 410 requests so far to the district collector asking him to help us with getting loans. Canara Bank's Saibaba colony branch alone has given loans to 10 entrepreneurs under the Mudra scheme. We are very delighted by this initiative. All other banks in Coimbatore should give more loans to entrepreneurs from the city under the mudra scheme. " He said.
TACT Union General Secretary Prathap gave the vote of thanks at this event.
