Vijay Makkal Iyakkam petitions to take action against its former executive in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: The Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has filed a complaint with the City Police Commissioner's Office seeking legal action against the former executive of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.

Jayaseelan, who was removed from the post of member of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam 10 years ago, has been slandering Busy Anand, the General Secretary of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, on private television for the past few days without any evidence. Coimbatore District Vijay Makkal Iyakkam leader Pradeep Kumar has lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore City Commissioner's Office seeking legal action against him.



Speaking to reporters, Coimbatore District Chairman Pradeep Kumar said that Jayaseelan was slandering on private television without any basic evidence and also accused that he had spoken about the district administration and hence urged that legal action should be taken against him.
