Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 490 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,26,994 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,294.
Among districts, Chennai led with 146 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 47 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 55,755 today, totalling to 1,65,99,861 getting examined till date.
