As part of project implemented by Aram Foundation Charitable Trust, Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani launches online educational facility in 15 Government schools, funded by the HCL Foundation.

This project was inaugurated by District Collector K Rajamani yesterday. In addition to the online studio facility, under the project, the city-based non-profit organisation will provide COVID-19 pandemic relief to schools which will be benefitting students from grades 10 - 12 at the 38 governmentschoolsand27corporationschools.
Around 10litresofsanitizer, containers, sanitizer stands, nails for hanging the sanitizer, funnel, hand wash liquid will be benefit the 56,500 plus students in the city.
The online studios will be used to conduct live virtual classes for students asperthetimetableoftheteachers. The classes will be conductedfrom 9 AM to 12 PM or 10 AM to 1 PM every day. The students would access their lessons through laptop. In afternoon the facilities will be used for recording lessons for the lower class students and the recordings will be circulated among WhatsApp groups.
Each school will be provided with Samsung Galaxy A21sphone, a SIM-card with 1 year Internet facility, tripod stand with light, collar mike, white board, duster, marker pens, and nails for hanging. The idea behind this facility is to reach the children who have lost the direct rapport with the school and their teachers.
This project will help the students to catch up their lost lessons and also help them to not break the academic carrier due to the pandemic. There are few students whoareworkingparttimetohelptheeconomyathome.All efforts are being made to protect the interest of the children and ensure that the students face the exam, take up the challenge and come out successfully, say the organisers from Aram.
There would be teachers training session all along till the end by the professionals. Motivational session will be conducted monthly for students and teachers by volunteers of the Aram Foundation Charitable Trust.
The entire project would be coordinated, implemented and documented by 10 Aram Foundation teachers who would work with the partnering school teachers.
