After his arrest, Govindhasamy was undergoing trail at the Coimbatore District Court.
Govindhasamy recently applied for bail and was released. But he did not appear at the court for the next hearing and went into hiding. After this, the court issued an arrest warrant to the Race Course police officials and the authorities have now filed a case against Govindhasamy and are in the look out for him.
