Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 493 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,26,504 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,309.
Among districts, Chennai led with 149 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 62 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 53,076 today, totalling to 1,65,44,106 getting examined till date.
