Coimbatore: Vacant positions for the post of Junior Assistant in Coimbatore Corporation were not filled for many years. Due to this many works at various departments were kept pending.
This heavily affected the Coimbatore Corporation and so the Coimbatore Corporation officials decided to conduct walk-in interviews to fill the positions immediately.

District Assistant Corporation Commissioner Madhuranthagi said that " Job orders for 54 people were given post the interview sessions to join as Junior Assistant to work in the Coimbatore Corporation."
Meanwhile the corporation has decided to issue offer letters to the selected people with regard to the vacancies zonal wise.
