Police officials stated that 16 sovereigns of gold jewels and 30,000 rupees cash are missing from the house.
Tirupur:Kalimuthu, a resident of Arumuthampalayam near Palladam, Tirupur for 20 years.
He and his family members recently went to his native Madurai. On returning today morning from Madurai, Kalimuthu found the door of his house broken.
Under suspicion he checked the house and found his cupboard left open and 16 sovereigns of gold jewels and 30,000 rupees cash missing from his house.
Post this Kalimuthu filed a complaint at the Palladam police station. Police officials who arrived at the scene looked for evidence with the help of forensic fingerprint analysts and are further conducting their investigation regarding the burglary.
