Anti-terrorism rehearsal held in Isha, Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Anti-terrorism squad rehearsal by NSG was held in Isha, Coimbatore.
Anti-terrorism and anti-hijacking exercises are routinely conducted on behalf of the National Security Forces. One such rehearsal at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore started last night, at 7:30 p.m. Upon receiving the 'alert' information, the Alandurai and Rural police, 20 people rushed to the scene.
A team from the NSG got off the helicopter and engaged in rehearsals. Various departments, including the medical team, the revenue department and firefighters, took part in the rehearsal. It was calculated as to how quickly everyone acted.
A team of 18 members of NSG held a rehearsal yesterdayafter camping in Coimbatore since last week. A similar event is planned at the Sulur Air Force Base. Lastly, in 2017, a similar rehearsal was held by the National Security Guards at shopping malls in Coimbatore and IT companies in Keeranatham.
