Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 495 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,25,520 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,351.
Among districts, Chennai led with 143 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 49 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 51,613 today, totalling to 1,64,39,856 getting examined till date.
