Coimbatore: Madathukulam DMK MLA Jayaramakrishnan accused saying thatCM announced crop loan waiver frightened by DMK leader Stalin's announcement.

From the area under the Suleeswaranpatti municipality near Pollachi, a large number of youths from the alternative party joined the DMK at a private wedding hall. Led by Madathukulam DMK MLA Jayaramakrishnan, the event saw more than a hundred youths from various parties, including the AIADMK, withdraw and join the DMK.

Speaking to reporters, MLA Jayaramakrishnan said that DMK leader Stalin a month ago promised that crop loans to farmers would be waived once the DMK came to power.
He said, "Frightened by announcement of DMK Leader MK Stalin,Edappadi Palanisamy, unable to meet the people for campaigning has now issued a notice regarding the loan waiver for farmers. AIADMK executives are without a stand. They are in a position to accept anyone as their leader. Many of the AIADMK MLAs came to the field by being directly chosen by Sasikala. Their stand will be known in the coming days."
