AMMK cadres make grand arrangements in Chennai to welcome Sasikala tomorrow, February 8
After her release from Bengaluru prison on January 27, Sasikala who was under quarantine at a resort in Karnataka will be returning to Chennai, tomorrow. On behalf of AMMK, arrangements are underway to welcome her.
Former CM Jayalalitha's aide and former AIADMK general secretary, Sasikala who was serving 4-years prison sentence in Bengaluru prison in disproportionate assets case was tested positive for COVID-19. After intensive treatment, she was discharged from hospital and was advised to be under quarantine.
After four years, VK Sasikala's arrival to Chennai has left her followers bustle in joy and engage in grand preparations to welcome her. Posters at several parts in Chennai, especially in Porur, Guindy, Kathippaara, T Nagar are put up. Reports say that Sasikala will be
staying in one of her close relative's residence at T Nagar.
Meanwhile, AMMK General Secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran called upon his followers to make arrangements to welcome Sasikala back to the State to ensure the arrangements do not cause any public disturbance and following safety protocols for COVID-19.
