Coimbatore: Tamilnadu Rural Development and Municipal Administration Minister SP Velumani yesterday handed over the official free medical seat order to a student from Coimbatore.
Under the order of Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy, Tamilnadu government issued an order which grants free seats for students to study medicine at private medical colleges. As a part of that S Afrin, D/o Salim from Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore was given the government order to study medicine for free at a private college in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani, District Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian, Deputy Corporation Commissioner Madhuranthagi and other Corporation Officials took part in this event.
