Rs 2 crore Urban Health Center, Community Welfare Center inaugurated in Vilankurichi by Minister SP Velumani


Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani today inaugurated Rs. 2 crore 9 lakh 35 thousand worth development works in the Vilankurichi area for public use.



An urban health center has been set up at a cost of Rs. 131.5 lakhs in Vilankurichi area under Ward No. 32, Coimbatore East Zone. Similarly, in Saravanampatti area, a community welfare center was set up at a cost of Rs. 15 lakhs from the Assembly Member 'Development Fund and Rs.

63.30 lakhs 6 Total ‌ Rs. 78.30 lakhs ‌ Established Community Welfare Center. SP Velumani, Minister of Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Special Projects, inaugurated the completed development works at a total cost of Rs. 2 crore 9 lakh 35 thousand for the use of the public.

The Commissioner of the Corporation ‌and the Private Officer P. Kumaravel ‌Pandian presided. Coimbatore South Assembly Member Amman K. Arjunan, Northern Assembly Member PRG Arunkumar, Countampalayam Assembly Member VC Arukutty, Deputy Commissioner S. Madhuranthagi, Zonal Assistant Commissioners Murugan (East), Senthilkumar Ratnam (North), Municipal Engineer R. Lakshmanan, Executive Engineer Gnanavell, Health Officers, Corporation Officers and the public were present.
