Coimbatore: Wife commits suicide by jumping into well following husband's death in Negamam.

Ramasamy, 94, of Periyakalanthai Vadakkuthottam next to Negamam, died of natural causes on the 3rd due to old age. It is said that his wife Subbathal, 80, jumped into the well in the farm on the 4th mourning the death of her husband. Neighbors rescued her and rushed her to Pollachi Government Hospital.

The doctor who examined her there said that she had already died on the way. Negamam police have registered a case and are investigating. The suicide of the wife mourning the death of her husband has caused a great stir in the area.
