Tamil Nadu Vivasiyagal Paathukaappu Sangam National Co-ordinator held press conference in Tirupur
Tirupur: Tamil Nadu Vivasiyagal Paathukaappu Sangam National Coordinator held press conference in Tirupur.
Farmers have been fighting for the last two and a half months against the 3 agriculture amendment laws passed by the central government. In an attempt to disrupt the struggle, the Modi government unleashed violence on the tractor rally and brought dispute to the farmers. He accused that it is a false propaganda to say that farmers in Delhi did not have support from farmers in other states.

He said, "To add support to farmers we have decided to send 10 coconuts from each plantation at the rate of one lakh coconuts on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Vivasayigal Paathukaapu Sangam, just like they collected 'yerukol' from every farmer for the Patel statue and how they collected brick to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya. We are going to do this within a week and coconut collection has started in Coimbatore and Tirupur districts."
He added saying, "Delhi produces paddy, wheat and vegetables. But there is no coconut cultivation. Therefore, we are going to hold a grand coconut sending ceremony to Delhi with the contribution of Tamil Nadu farmers. Following this, 100 people from Tamil Nadu are participating in the protest in Delhi."
Eesan, Founder Advocate, Tamil Nadu Vivasayigal Paathukaapu Sangam, Shanmugasundaram, Chairman, PL Raghupathy participated in the event.
