Before March end all NTC mills would start function assures Top official
Coimbatore: Director (HR) of National Textile Corporation has assured that needy steps would be taken to ensure all NTC mills across the nation would restart functioning before March end. Post 'Covid-19' outbreak, at present only 2 out of 7 NTC mills in Tamil nadu have been restarted to function.
Workers and the trade unions are stressing the NTC management to take steps in reopening all the mills. In this situation the Director(HR) of Delhi, NTC Head office,Ashudosh Gupta came to Coimbatore todayand interacted with the office bearers of various trade unions and officials.
Sources said, "The meeting with theDirector(HR) ended up well. The purpose of his visit is to give hope to all the workers. During the meeting he said that all the needy steps would be taken to ensure all NTC mills across the nation would start to function one by one. At present lack of sufficient finance to buy the raw materials is the reason for the many mills to remain closed. He assured that the head office is taking the necessary steps in ensuring the finance problem is solved. He has also assured that all the NTC mills across India will start functioning before March end. The official visit and his interaction with the trade unions has given a big hope among the workers that all mills would soon."
