COVID 19: Tamil Nadu posts 503 recoveries to 477 new cases

Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Saturday recorded 477 fresh COVID-19 cases and 3 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,41,326 and toll to 12,382.


Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Saturday recorded 477 fresh COVID-19 cases and 3 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,41,326 and toll to 12,382.

Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 503 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,24,527 till date, the State health department bulletin said.

Active cases stood at 4,417.

Among districts, Chennai led with 156 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 65 cases.

Testing of samples stood at 53,256 today, totalling to 1,63,34,713 getting examined till date.
