Tasmac workers protest in Coimbatore requesting job security!

District Tasmac Workers Union took part in a protest today that happened at the South Tahsildar Office in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Tasmac Workers Union took part in a protest today at the South Tahsildar Office in Coimbatore, requesting the government to cancel false cases, job safety for Tasmac workers and for permanent job postings.



Tasmac workers who took part in this demonstration chanted slogans and condemned the government for not ensuring job security to the workers who generated revenue for the government even during the time of Covid-19 pandemic.

Ramasundaram, Deputy General Secretary of Pattali Workers Union Peravai said that " I condemn the vigilance department officials for arresting two Tasmac workers under false accusations in a bribery case."

He then said that "Bar Contractor Sivamani who is money minded has been filing false accusations in his employees. The government and Bar association officials must immediately take action against them."



Ramasundaram, Deputy General Secretary of Pattali Workers Union Peravai further requested the government to give permanent positions for employees before the upcoming elections as they have been working for the government for more than 17 years.

Tasmac Pattali Workers Union State Deputy Secretary, District Head Sudheer, District Treasurer BalaSanjeevi, Paramasivam, Vediappan along with CITU union members and LPF union members took part in the demonstration.
