Post the arrest dentist Dinesh was taken to Malappuram by the Kerala Police for investigation.
Coimbatore: Kerala police officials arrested a maoist named Chitiravalli Rajan a few weeks back. Based on the information received during the investigation, Kerala Anti-Naxal Police Officials with the permission of a Court in Kerala came to Coimbatore.
Kerala Anti-Naxal Police Officials then conducted a raid in the areas of Thadagam Road, Idayarpalayam, Ukkadam and Sungam.
The raid happened at the house of Parthiban in Ukkadam and at the house of Rajesh in Sungam. Post that the Anti-Naxal Police Officials raided a private hospital near Idayarpalayam and arrested a dentist named Dinesh.
During a search at Dinesh's room, cops found and seized items including 2 laptops, 5 mobile phones, 2 batteries, CD, Identification card, books and a photocopy of a picture which says to ignore elections.
Later Kerala Anti-Naxal took Dinesh to Malappuram Kerala, where he was investigated throughout the night the items seized and his involvement with the maoist. Police officials say that Dinesh was later submitted at the court and has now been sent to a prison.
