Recovered wild boar is now under intense treatment at the Veterinary Hospital in Narasipuram.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Forest Officials received a tip today morning about a severely injured wild boar fighting for its life near a pit next to the co-operative society bank Narasipuram, in the Pooluvapatti forest range.
Post this forest officials immediately arrived at the scene and found the wild boar severely injured near its mouth.
Forest officials then recovered the wild boar which is now getting treatment at the Veterinary Hospital in Narasipuram.
Post this forest officials under the Narasipuram forest ranger are investigating the case and are in suspicion whether this trap was set intentionally to hurt the wild boar by local farmers near the forest area.
