Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 506 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,24,024 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,446.
Among districts, Chennai led with 158 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 54 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 52,656 today, totalling to 1,62,81,457 getting examined till date.
