Hindu Munnani Zonal Secretary Rajkumar petitions Coimbatore SP against false accusations made on party members

Coimbatore Zonal Secretary of Hindu Munnani, Rajkumar petitioned at Coimbatore SP office regarding the false accusations made on Hindu Munnani members recently.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Zonal Secretary of Hindu Munnani, Rajkumar petitioned at Coimbatore SP office regarding the false accusations made on Hindu Munnani members recently.



In the petition Zonal Secretary Rajkumar stated that "Certain members took part in a street play on January 26thand made derogatory remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi against which BJP members participated in a condemning protest in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore.

During the demonstration BJP State member Kalyana Raman addressed the gathering when certain members infiltrated the protest area and started to attack BJP members with stones as in the video evidences of police authorities.

Mettupalayam Police Officials have arrested Hindu Munnani Coimbatore Secretary Satheesh Kumar and Coimbatore North Zone Vice President Thangavel with investigating the case primarily.

Hindu Munnani party had no link to the demonstration that happened in Mettupalayam. No members from Hindu Munnani party took part in that demonstration. We were at home during the meeting under special protection from police officials. It will be revealed when the entries by the officials are checked. I kindly request the police officials to check the evidence before making false accusations against Hindu Munnani party members."
