The team won the overall Trophy by securing 2nd Place in Rifle Overall and 2nd Place in Carbine overall.
Coimbatore: Around 25 police officials from the West Zone who shoot excellently were selected to represent the West Zone in the Intrastate tournament. The selected cops underwent special training from 19th October last year.
Post the training the Intrastate gun shooting tournament happened from 28th to 30th January this year at the TNCF Shooting 7826 range in Kanchipuram.
Police officials from 8 zones took part in this tournament. The West Zone team won the overall championship under the captionship of SI Ramesh, Erode district. The team won the overall Trophy by securing 2nd Place in Rifle Overall and 2nd Place in Carbine overall.

1. 100 Yards - Sankaran, Nilgiris District (Bronze Medal)
2. 200 Yards - Sivaraj, Salem City AR (Bronze Medal)
3. 300 Mtrs - Prakash, Coimbatore District AR (Gold Medal)
4. 9mm Carbine - Mani, Namakkal District (Gold Medal)
5. 9mm Carbine - Risath, Coimbatore District (Bronze Medal)
6. 100 Yards Women - Kumutha, Dharmapuri District AR (Silver Medal)
7. Pistol 50 Yards - Deepa, Namakkal District (Bronze Medal)
