Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 517 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,23,518 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,467.
Among districts, Chennai led with 149 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 58 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 51,882 today, totalling to 1,62,28,801 getting examined till date.
