Sanitary worker consumes poison after recording his confession: Request to take action against three including a nurse

Coimbatore: Sanitary worker consumes poison after recording his confession and sent it to her friends and relatives and requested to take action against three including a nurse.

Rengasamy (age 38) is from BK Puthur, Maduraiveeran Temple Road, Kuniyamuthur is survived by his wife and two daughters. He is working as a sanitary worker at the Seethalakshmi Government Maternity Hospital in RS Puram Coimbatore. He recorded a death confession in his cell phone and committed suicide by drinking poison.

The death confession stated: - "I have been working in the Government Maternity Hospital for the last few days. I unexpectedly saw the affair between Solomon, an employee and a woman named Revathi, a computer operator. Following that, along with Latha, a nurse who worked there, the 3 others got together and falsely complained about me to the chief doctor saying I videotaped women and portrayed me as a bad man and prevented me from working there. When I went to work for the last 2 days I was told to leave the job and was not allowed to sign the attendance. This depressed me and I decided to commit suicide. I have two daughters and a wife. The cause of my death was Solomon, Revathi and Lata. Action must be taken against them."

Rangasamy's daughter Ramya today lodged a complaint at the Kuniyamuthur police station. In that petition she stated that her dad died after recording the video. She and her family submitted a petition to take action against the 3 people Rangasamy had accused. The police who received the petition have assured to take action.
