In his press release Sarathkumar stated that "Kovai Shanmugasundaram was the Chief Deputy General Secretary of the All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi. Due to some personal reasons regarding his company he was not able to focus much on the party, so he is being relieved from his duties from today. All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi's Women's Wing Secretary Radhika Sarathkumar will be taking charge of this new position additionally.
I request the members of the All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi from Kongu South Zone and other areas to support Radhika Sarathkumar the new Deputy General Secretary of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi to perform her duties efficiently." He said
In another press release, All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi's General Secretary Sarathkumar stated that " CT Manigandan who was All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi's Coimbatore North Secretary is being terminated from his position as his actions and behaviour are not in alignment with the party's goals. I kindly request party members to avoid contacts with him."
All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi leader Sarathkumar then said that a new member will be soon appointed as the Secretary for Coimbatore North.
