Protestors tried to burn a copy of the newly formed labour codes by the Central Government near the Thiruvallur Busstand in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore.
Workers unions across the country are involved in protests against the Electricity act 2020, privatization of government departments etc.
As a part of that, the Central Workers Union participated in a protest today in Coimbatore where they tried to burn a copy of the Indian Constitution against various new reforms.
This created a clash between the police authorities and the members who took part in the protest.
Post this the cops arrested more than 30 people who were involved in the protest.
