BJP does not directly cooperate in release of 7 Tamils issue, Governor will take legal action: Vanathi Srinivasan in Pollachi.

Coimbatore: BJP will not directly cooperate in release of 7 Tamils convicted issue and Governor will take legal action: Vanathi Srinivasan in Pollachi. BJP office building inauguration ceremony and Pollachi Coir Production Consultative Meeting was held in Pollachi.

BJP national women's wing leader Vanathi Srinivasan was present and listened to the grievances of the coir producers. Later, in an interview to reporters, she said that legal issues in the case of the release of 7 Tamils had gone through various stages.

She said, "With the order of the Supreme Court on one side and the State Government having passed a resolution in the Assembly, the governor will take whatever action is required by constitutional law. The BJP's co-operation in this is not direct. In the 10 Congress alliance, many of the funds received by Tamil Nadu during its tenure have been allocated in the central budget. 5 lakh 30 thousand crore has been allocated for Tamil Nadu alone.

She added, "The AIIMS hospital did not come under the Congress rule and now the Modi government has brought 11 medical colleges to Tamil Nadu. The Central Government has brought various schemes to Tamil Nadu such as the Smart Cities. Stalin had to read the funds allocated to Tamil Nadu during the 10 yearsof the Congress and then critique the budget. Land acquisition for Madurai AIIMS Hospital is in progress and it is being delayed as it is a task to be implemented jointly by the Central and State Governments.

Vanathi Srinivasan said work would begin soon and the central budget aims to boost the country's economy. It is also encouraging for all sectors and it is published with a view of a self-reliant country.
