Man who climbed tree for harvesting honey falls to death
Coimbatore: Man who climbed tree for harvesting honey falls down and dies. The person who climbed the tree to get honey from the tree fell down and died on the spot. Murugesan (57), a resident of Malligai nagar, Thondamuthur, Coimbatore, is survived by his wife and a daughter.
Murugesan went with his friend to extract the honey from a tree at Pudupalayam yesterday. While climbing the tree his hand slipped and he fell down. He was seriously injured and fainted. Those nearby immediately informed 108 Ambulance. The ambulance medical assistant who examined him said Murugesan was already dead. Thondamuthur police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation under Section 176.
