Conditional bail for 2 women who swindled Rs 65 crore.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore court yesterday granted conditional bail to two women involved in an alleged scam of Rs 65 crore in an online financial institution in Coimbatore. GreenCrust is an online financial institution based in Krishnasamy, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore.

They cheated the depositors and swindled Rs 65 crore. Manikandan, Sanjay Kumar, Manikandan's wife Padmavathi, daughter Saranya, Srinivasan and Karthikeyan from Chennai were arrested last November. Padmavathi and Saranya filed a petition in the court seeking bail. Judge Ravi yesterday released the two on conditional bail.
