The Covid Warrior Awards were given under 6 different categories to various services providers.
Coimbatore: Airport Authority of India Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Limited (AAICLAS) Cargo terminal at Coimbatore the International Airport has distributed 'Covid Warrior Awards' in 6 different categories.
Aviation Sources said, "Post the pandemic outbreak cargo flight operations alone were given permission to function as usual. Those were really tough times and in order to recognise various service providers who were providing continuous support during the period, AAICLAS Cargo Terminal at Coimbatore International Airport decided to give 'Covid Warriors Awards".
In the event which was held yesterday. Service providersreceived 'Covid Warrior Awards' under various categories. Here is the list of the awards: More number of bills for EXIM clearance by 1 CHA (Customs House Agent) category awarded to the Messers Trans Orion Logistics, Coimbatore.
More number of all Cargo flights was awarded to Spice Jet Airlines. More number of freight by IATA (International Air Transport Association) agent category was awarded to 'SM Travel and Cargo service'. More volume of belly load in domestic movement was awarded to Indigo Airlines. Best Exporter category was awarded to Root Impex. Bonded Truck operations in both ways was awarded to Shreeji Translogistics company.
Director of Coimbatore International Airport, R Mahalingam presided over the function and distributed the awards. The event was organised by the Head of Cargo Department, S Subramanian." Aviation Sources said.
