Tamilnadu Workers Union members protest in Tirupur

Police officials arrested over 100's of members who took part in the protest.


Tirupur: Members from the Tamilnadu Workers Association took part in a condemning protest and a demonstration in Tirupur today.

Over 100 members participated in this protest and raised various requests to the government.

Some of them include: Cancellation of the new pension scheme, bringing back Internal pricing and other schemes, Salaries to the employees working in Municipality and Corporation to be paid from the budget, special salary for employees who worked during Covid-19 and many others.

This protest was conducted by the Tamilnadu Workers Association as a way to get the government notice their woes and accept their requests.

Police officials arrested the members who took part in this roadside demonstration.
