Preparation works for Jallikattu in full swing in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Preparation works for Jallikattu in full swing in Coimbatore. Cleaning of the venue for the fourth annual Jallikattu competition in Coimbatore started yesterday.
For the last 3 years in the district Jallikattu competition was held at Madukkarai, Nilambur Bypass Road, about one kilometer away from Kanjikonampalayampirivu.
For the fourth time this year, it has been revealed that Jallikattu will take place on the 21st. The competition is being held at the same place this year and the cleansing work has begun. Setting up of the gallery and vadivasal will also be done. It is to be noted that the Jallikattu administration has joined hands with district administration for the preparatory works.
