Speaking on the occasion, Environment Team Secretary of State Karthikeyan Sivasenapathy spoke on how leaders like Periyar, Anna and Kalaignar have improved the livelihood of the people and the progress they have made in Tamil Nadu.

He said, "The Modi-led central government and the Palanisamy-led AIADMK government have betrayed the Tamil people by blocking the development of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, we will work tirelessly to end this anarchy in the coming 2021 Assembly elections. DMK Chief also said he would make sure they make it first."
Swearing by the Dravidian policies, all volunteers who had joined the party vowed to work for the party and ensure the party's victory in the coming elections.
