Coimbatore: Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiam along with other NGOs organise Modi Camp across various parts of Coimbatore to help completion for various people welfare schemes.
As a part of that, Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiam organised an event in Coimbatore today.
During the event, various welfare schemes including Prime Minister's insurance scheme, Selvamagal Saving Scheme for girl children below 10 years, free eye camp and other important events took place.
Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP's National President for Women's Wing took part in this event and oversaw the events. She then met with the press and said that Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiam organises various events knowing the needs of the public.
When asked about Sasikala's release, Vanathi Srinivasan said that "It is a relationship between her and AIADMK. According to Tamilnadu, AIADMK will head the National Alliance and both the parties will face the upcoming elections together."
Vanathi Srinivasan further stated that "I condemn the violent behaviour of a particular minority group at a BJP meeting in Mettupalayam. Police officials must take immediate actions against them."
