To show the plight of the public and to catch the attention of the officials, CPIM members took part in a siege protest at the Highway Department office at the Tirupur Kumaran road
Tirupur: Members of the CPM Tirupur said that "there over 60 wards within the district which has heavily damaged roads. These roads affect the health of the public during their daily commute and are also the reasons for many accidents in the area. Despite our multiple complaints to the District Officials and Highways Department no action has been taken."

To show the plight of the public and to catch the attention of the officials, CPM members took part in a siege protest at the Highway Department office at the Tirupur Kumaran road.
Post this the highway authorities assured the party members that immediate measures will be taken regarding this issue.
Later the CPM members dispersed from the scene after warning the officials about more serious protests if no action is being taken.
