Coimbatore Round Table 31 inaugurates 2 new classrooms at the Panchayat Union Middle School in Coimbatore

With a strength of 240 students, these newly constructed classrooms can hold upto 100 students.


Coimbatore: As a part of Round Table India’s vision of “Freedom Through Education”, Coimbatore City Round Table 31, Coimbatore City Ladies Circle 16 along with Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated two classroom blocks at the Panchayat Union Middle School (PUMS) in Ellapalayam village, Annur Block, Coimbatore on January 27th.



Planning and construction works for this classroom began in August and was completed by January along with continuous CSR fund support from Karur Vysya Bank.

These plots were inaugurated by R Venkateshan, Deputy General Manager, KVB - Coimbatore, Tr. Pradeep Rajappa, Area 7 Chairman and Cr.Shalaka Vora, Chairperson, Ladies Circle.

With a strength of 240 students, these newly constructed classrooms can hold upto 100 students. The inauguration ceremony was convened by Tr. Dayanand Palaniswamy (Chairman CCRT 31) and Cr. Sindhuja Dayanand (Chaiperson CCLC 16)

Round Table India is currently spread across 90+ Cities & Towns as Tabling Centers. The other flagship projects of CCRT 31 and CCLC 16 include – The Artificial Limb Centre at the Government School in R.S Puram, which was constructed with an aim of providing free artificial limbs to amputees. This centre currently manufacturers and supplies the limbs along with many community service projects.
