Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 517 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,21,947 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,532.
Among districts, Chennai led with 134 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 59 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 51,664 today, totalling to 1,60,71,626 getting examined till date.
