Police officials filed a case regarding this incident and werein search of the accused Ramasamy the storage unit owner, Santosh and Mumoorthy.
Meanwhile, yesterday the police officials received a tip regarding the accused. Post that a team under Sub Inspector Alagesan raided the areas of Pollachi - Udumalaipettai road.
During their raid and inspections near the checkpost, the officials randomly investigated a suspicious man in his 50's. Later it was revealed that the man was Mumoorthy (50) who was one of the 3 accused for stealing subsidy manures.
Police authorities then arrested Mumoorthy and seized rupees 9,500 which was from the resale of stolen manures.
